Here’s the promised update. I couldn’t get any open-ended questions, I only got a sample of the MCQ.
And here’s one that came smacking into my face.

Here I am, doing my literature homework and helping a classmate with hers when suddenly I’m reminded to defer my NS enlistment.
Sound simple, right? Noooo. Our government does not have the word “simplify” in its vocabulary. Neither does it have “efficiency”.
Mood = Angsty (But more like, “I need to vent it out by smashing some ming vases and stabbing some people. Ooh, stabbing,” that kind of mood.)
Music = There isn’t one, unless you count the inner madman inside me that’s screaming. Otherwise, I’m listening to O Fortuna.

Okay folks, this is the official Undisputed_Seraphim post about the Astrochallenge ‘08.
In summary, we are doomed.
I shall update this post after Jin Peng (one of the organizers) sends me a sample question paper of last year’s astrochallenge.
To put across a point first, the paper totals 850 marks and has five questions, all of which is the kind that makes Jee Yang shudder with excitement.

A rather animated song from an exaggeratively non sequitur comedic anime, where an innocent guy is forced into marriage by his employers to a cat-girl who’s the descendant of an evil god. And they have a family together with a combat cybot, a lion, a jellyfish, a little girl and a teen with gender identity disorder (read: gay).

Music = Agujero Inmundo (G.E. BGM - S.F.A.)
The computer has finally decided that the strike wasn’t going to benefit either party, so the hard disk agreed to stop striking. I.E. I’m back online, hopefully permanently. The Sovereign of the Srs Internets is back. And listening to some damn good music. Agujero Inmundo hs a very nice violin bit in it, and it reminds me of snowy places, two things I like.
